Valentines Day

Hey guys Valentines Day is just a few days away. This Sunday is that special day when men all across America try and be as romantic as possible. 

Some men buy flowers, others give candies, some take their special someone out for a nice dinner, while most everyone buys a card that tries to captivate the essence of what it means to love and be loved. During the planning and preparation of this special day don’t forget to tell the one who made you and formed you in your mothers womb how much you love them. Don’t forget to tell Jesus I love you! My grandmother wrote this valentine poem, I hope you enjoy it as you celebrate love with your spouse

MY VALENTINE IS JESUS!

I need someone to hold me close,
To whisper in my ear;
Someone to say I’m loved the most
To calm all doubts and fear!
Someone to laugh along with me
When joy fills full my cup;
I need to know that no matter when--
He’ll be there to lift me up.

I need someone nearby each day
Yes, even when I complain—
To take my hand and say, “Okay,
Let’s start all over again.
”I need someone not just today,
To hold me fast and long….
To flower my life with Valentines--
And whisper love’s sweet song.T

Then with my tear-stained face I saw
I found him long ago—
I am his bride, and he is mine
As I walk this path below.
He loved me with a love so deep
That on Calvary, He died that day;
I heard him say, “With my own blood,
“I’ll wash your sin away.

”Though many friends on earth I have
Who seek true love to show!
I’ve only one REAL Valentine,
And His love forever grows.
He is my Lord and Savior,
My Confidant and Friend,
His name is Jesus—my Valentine!
His love will NEVER end.

So, in addition to your “earthly” loves, be sure to remember your “heavenly” love. He will never leave you nor forsake you. JESUS NEVER FAILS
